As part of Le Club Accor Hotels’ Seeker Project, I was able to stay at Fairmont Banff Springs and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise during my recent visit to Banff National Park. I was able to stay in these hotels because they are close to many attractions. They also offer amazing amenities and activities right inside the hotel.

How to get to Banff National Park

If you don’t want to rent a car, there is a shuttle service that runs regularly from Calgary Airport to the towns of Banff or Lake Louise.

My Le Club AccorHotels membership (a points membership associated to the Fairmont) allowed me to stay on the Gold Luxury Floor. The service was excellent and the amenities plentiful. Every day, I received complimentary breakfast, snacks, and a pair sneakers thanks to the partnership with Reebok.

I enjoyed the amenities and a relaxing afternoon at Willow Stream Spa. I also had a delicious, filling Afternoon tea in Rundle Lounge. The views from there are incredible. I also took advantage of the fully-equipped gym.

  • Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise can be found just 40 minutes from Banff. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains, Lake Louise which is very turquoise, and the Victoria Glacier. The hotel is a haven for many great restaurants, a wonderful wellness program, mountain adventures excursions, and spacious, comfortable suites.

I used the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s Suite Life program to book dining reservations and arrange transportation.

The hotel’s Suite Life program offered me complimentary breakfast, valet parking and nightly turndown services. Fresh cut flowers were also available.

Fairmont properties are known for their commitment to sustainability and waste management. It was amazing to learn that they had scales in all of their restaurants so they could measure food waste. They also worked hard to reduce water consumption whenever possible.
